The Gastonia Snipers put together a complete offensive performance on Sunday evening, defeating the Carolina Panthers 131–115 at Pearl Moore Gymnasium in ECBL action. Gastonia set the tone early, jumping out to a 35–25 lead after the first quarter and never relinquishing control. Their balanced attack continued into the second quarter, where they outscored Carolina 24–14 to take a commanding 59–39 advantage into halftime. While the Panthers showed resilience in the second half—highlighted by a 45-point fourth quarter—the early deficit proved too much to overcome. The Snipers were efficient across the board, shooting an impressive 48.2% from the field and knocking down 12 three-pointers. Yakim Jenkins (6'0''-PG) led the way with 29 points, connecting on 7-of-15 from beyond the arc to stretch the Panthers’ defense throughout the night. Keandre Marion (6'0''-PG) added 25 points on an efficient 12-of-19 shooting performance, while Joshua Windham (6'3''-G-1994, college: Bluefield St.) contributed 24 points, giving Gastonia a strong trio of offensive firepower. Jarod Scott (6'8''-C) also made a major impact with 18 points on 77.8% shooting, and CJ Miller (6'5''-F, college: NAU) chipped in 11 points while helping facilitate the offense. The Snipers’ ball movement was evident, finishing with 29 assists as a team. \For Carolina, Teus Anderson (6'6''-SF-1998, college: Anderson) delivered a standout performance with a game-high 44 points and 18 rebounds, doing everything he could to keep the Panthers competitive. Brycen Boone (6'1''-G) added 22 points, and X’vetrias Rakin contributed 17, but the Panthers struggled to match Gastonia’s efficiency and depth. Despite a stronger second half, including a 76-point effort after the break, Carolina couldn’t recover from the slow start. Gastonia’s dominance on the glass (58 rebounds) and consistent scoring across all four quarters proved to be the difference. With the win, the Snipers continue to build momentum as one of the league’s most dangerous offensive teams, showcasing both scoring depth and efficiency in a statement victory.
