The Wolves secured a win in their second-to-last home game of the regular season, evening the season series at 1-1 with Goldsboro on Saturday. Goldsboro came out strong, leading 58-48 at halftime behind a fast-paced offense. Kristopher Clark (5'9''-PG, college: Mount Olive) showcased his speed, finishing with 29 points, while MyQuan Gooding contributed a double-double with 25 points and 12 rebounds. In the second half, the Wolves regrouped and stormed back, rallying behind Trey Carrier, who delivered a standout performance with 26 points, 12 rebounds, and 3 assists. Jahlil Rawley (6'4''-PG-1997, college: Stetson, agency: GSE Worldwide) and Donte Horton (6'2''-SG) each added 19 points to help secure the 116-97 victory. Up next, the Wolves face off against the top-ranked DC Heat on Saturday (4/18). With the Wolves being the only team to defeat DC Heat last season, this matchup promises to be a thrilling showdown.
