The Carolina Crusaders hosted the Garden City Magic of Augusta Georgia. Just the day before, the Crusaders competed in a nail biter in Charlotte NC against the Gastonia Snipers that ended in a 1 point victory in overtime leading to a 2-2 record. On this Sunday, the Crusaders would be seeking to convert that record to its first winning record of the season thus far, and they succeeded, defeating the Garden City Magic 111-105. The Crusaders finished with six players in double digits led by Quan Prowell (6'8''-F, college: Auburn) with 21pts, Cincere Scott (6'1''-PG, college: Caldwell Tech) 18, Jalin Alexander (6'3''-SG-1994, college: Queens, NC) 18, Calvin Cooke III (6'2''-F, college: Laramie CC) 14, Monte Evans 13, and Demetrius Richardson (6'4''-F-1995, college: Wallace St. CC) with 10.
