In an electrifying matchup at the AC Tollison Gymnasium, the Carolina Thunder emerged victorious against the Primetime Players, ending with a final score of 116-100. The Thunder showcased a balanced attack, highlighted by stellar individual performances from their key players.
Top Performers for the Thunder: -Deon Berrien (6'6''-PF-1999, college: UNCP, agency: Interperformances) led the Thunder with an impressive 26 points and 10 rebounds, dominating both ends of the floor. His ability to score and draw fouls was a vital factor in the team's success. Patrell Rogers (6'2''-G-1995, college: SC State) had a remarkable performance, scoring 25 points while dishing out 6 assists. He shot 12-20 from the field, finishing the game with over 60% shooting, proving to be a consistent threat. DJ Mason (6'6''-PF-1994, college: Campbell) added a double-double of his own, contributing 16 points and securing 14 rebounds, anchoring the rebounding efforts for the Thunder. Filling in for Demetrius Knox (5'7''-PG-1998, college: Morris), veteran Jarvis Williams (7'3''-G, college: Holmes CC) delivered a much-needed spark with 14 points, hitting all three of his attempts from beyond the arc and recording 5 assists, showcasing his playmaking ability.
