Championship Set For Saturday

This Saturday, the ECBL will be hosting its championship game in Washington DC, home of the DC Heat, to conclude the playoffs. The game will be played at the University of the District of Columbia in their Sports Complex. The game starts at 4:00 PM and the doors open at 3:30 PM. The #1 overall seeded the DC Heat knocked off two time defending Northern Conference Champions the Petersburg Cavaliers and will now take on the Southern Conference #5 seed Carolina Thunder. The DC Heat have put on an incredible season, securing the Northern Conference Championship and SG Khory Moore (6'0''-PG, college: VWU) was also awarded the 2024 Tabetha Berry MVP last weekend. The Carolina Thunder, coming off of DJ Mason (6'6''-F-1994, college: Campbell, agency: IceBasket)'s 8-3pt performance against the Charlotte Tribe, had a rocky start to their season but have made a fantastic turnaround to win the Southern Conference Title last week knocking off the Charlotte Tribe and now get a chance to defend their 2023 ECBL Championship.
