PrimeTime Players hold Off Dream

The PrimeTime Players hosted there home opener against 2023 expansion team the Virginia Dream. Before the Game the host recognized Sean Barnette, Chris Moore (6'2''-G-1986, college: Charleston So.), Cornellius Reynolds, Isiah Cureton, and Odell Turner (6'2''-G-1991, college: Wingate) for there 2022 League Accomplishments. Chris Moore was also given a special Career Milestone Award for passing 3,000 points and 1,000 assist during the 2022 campaign, Moore is also the leagues All Time leader in Points and Rebounds. Once the game started the visitors slowed the game down and made it a half court game and led 27-24 at the end of the 1st Quarter. The second quarter the PrimeTime out scored the Dream 24-12 and Sean Barnette scored 12 of the 24 in the quarter as PrimeTime went into halftime up 48-39. The second half opened with a run by the Dream who were able to cut the lead down to 4 with Thomas Olerich (G) and Cordarius Townes combining for 15pts in the 3rd quarter before a late run by the host pushed it back to 9 after back to back three pointers from Chris Moore and Odell Turner. The 4th quarter both teams again played even throughout the quarter as PrimeTime was able to come away with a 106-92 win.
