Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.
Florence W. - Charlotte T. 97-117 Leading Wildcats (5-2) recorded its second loss in Florence. Hosts were rolled over by fourth ranked Tribe (2-3) 117-97. Tribe moved-up to third place, which they share with 4 other teams. Wildcats at the other side still keep top position with two games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest. Hub City H. - NOVA Bulls 111-100 The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Hogs as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Hogs defeated bottom-ranked Bulls in Hagerstown 111-100. Hogs have a solid three-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. which they share with defeated Bulls. Bulls at the other side still keep top with two games lost. They share the position with Bishopville D.. Bulls will play next round against strong Thunder trying to get back on the winning streak. Hogs will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Fayetteville P. - Rowan County B. 127-128 A very close game took place in Fayetteville between Bulls and Panthers. Fourth ranked Bulls (3-3) got a very close victory on the road over top-ranked Panthers (3-3). Bulls managed to escape with a 1-point win 128-127 in the game for the first place. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Bulls keep a position of league leader, which they share with Fayetteville P. Bulls will meet Hoyas (#4) in the next round. Panthers will have a break next round. Petersburg C. - Carolina CL 120-107 No shocking result in a game when top-ranked Cavaliers (6-0) beat 4th ranked Lions (0-6) in Petersburg 120-107 on Sunday. Cavaliers have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 6-0 record. Loser Lions still closes the standings with six games lost. Cavaliers will meet Capitals (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Lions will play against the league's second-placed Coyotes and hope to get finally their first victory. Garden CM - Carolina C. 109-123 Rather expected game when 5th ranked Magic (1-4) lost to second ranked Crusaders (4-1) in Augusta 109-123 on Sunday. Crusaders maintains second position with 4-1 record having just seven point less than leader Carolina Showtime. Loser Magic keeps the fifth place with four games lost. Crusaders will meet Lycans (#5) in the next round. Magic will play against Pirates and it may be a tough game between close rivals. |
