Fayetteville Panthers win second straight

On April 10 Fayetteville Panthers traveled east to Winterville for another ECBL matchup with the Carolina Chosen Lions . Jumping out to an early lead, the visitors earned their second straight victory winning 130-105.

Fayetteville took a 29-24 advantage after the first quarter then extended that lead to 69-50 by halftime.

The Panthers saw lights-out shooting from the trio of Shian Bradshaw (6'5''-F, college: Wake Tech CC), Steven Williams (6'2''-G) and Sidney Knox (5'10''-PG-95, college: Bluefield) who combined to shoot 26-of-36 from the field and 10-of-13 from beyond the three point arc.

Bradshaw lead all scorers with 25, chipping in with six rebounds. Williams finished the game with 23 points, five rebounds and four assists while Knox scored 20 while adding six assists.

Cody White (6'2''-G, college: Wesley) proved the difference maker in the paint pulling down 16 rebounds as well as scoring 14. Point guard Xavier Bethea (5'9''-PG-89, college: Johnston CC) (10 points, six rebounds, four assists) had his best performance of the season.

The Panthers (2-3) return to action in Fayetteville on Saturday when they welcome High Point Lycans. Game time is scheduled for 4:00 PM.
