PrimeTime Players Move To 9-0 With Win Over High Point - May 12, 2017

The PrimeTime Players hosted the High Point Hawks the past Saturday in a battle of two division leaders in Rock Hill, SC at York Prep Academy. The High Point Hawks came in with plenty to prove and also looking to put the league on notice with a win over the two time defending champions at there home venue.

The first quarter Norman Carter (6'4''-G/F-85, college: Winston Salem) came out strong for the visitors scoring from all over the floor as he scored a quick 10pts and guards Jarrett Johnson (6'6''-F) and J'Mell Walters (6'0''-G-87, college: N.C.Central) combined for another 13 as the Hawks were able to take a 33-26 lead at the end of the 1st quarter.

The second quarter the home team started to lock in on defense and where able to turn the tide and open up a double digit lead with Dijuan Harris (5'9''-PG-86, college: Charlotte) and Terell Smith (6'3''-G-85, college: Limestone) leading the way with a combined 19 point in the quarter. The Hawks were not to be out done by the home teams as they were able to storm back and cut the lead down to 57-60 at the half after a breakaway dunk from Trey Britton (6'8''-C/F-89, college: Anderson, SC, agency: HMS) and another quick six points from Norman carter over the last 2 minutes of the half.

The second half saw the Hawks open the quarter with back to back three pointers from Trey Britton and Kenard Moore (6'2''-PG-87, college: SE Missouri St.) as they were able to take a early lead at the start of the 3rd period. Kenard Moore would go on to hit three more three pointers in the quarter as the visitors would trade the lead back and forth for the first half of the quarter before Chris Moore (6'2''-PG-86, college: Charleston So.) and Terell Smith where able to start finding their range and combine for 25 points in the quarter as PrimeTime was able to take a 98-89 lead into the fourth. The final quarter was all two time league MVP Chris Moore as he would score 21 of his 45 in the quarter as PrimeTime was able to pull away and then hold on down the stretch for a 140-127 win.

ECBL to add Elam Ending for 13th Game in 2019 - 4 months ago
The Elam Ending will be coming to the ECBL in 2019. Teams schedule 13 games throughout the season with 10 games in conference that go towards playoffs seeding and 3 out of conference that don't have any bearing on the playoff standings. The ECBL Board announced the addition of the Fayetteville Panthers to the league lineup for the 2019 upcoming season. The team will be owned and coached by China Bethea who is a disabled veteran that grew up in the Fayetteville area having played Middle School, High School, AAU, and Semi Pro throughout the surrounding area over the years.
