Shooting Stars looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American guard Donovan Williams (198-2001, college: UNLV) fired 26 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. His fellow American import guard Terquavion Smith (193-2002, college: NC State) chipped in 27 points and 6 assists. Ivorian-Canadian forward Quincy Guerrier (203-1999, college: Illinois) produced a double-double by scoring 30 points and 11 rebounds and American point guard Tavian Dunn-Martin (173-1998, college: FGCU) added 13 points and 10 assists respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.

Surge players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. The game was dominated by American players. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Jameer Nelson Jr (185-2000, college: TCU) who helped to win the game recording 26 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Point guard Evan Gilyard II (180-1998, college: UMKC, agency: JCK Sports Group) contributed with 28 points and 5 assists for the winners. Gilyard II is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Guard Sean East II (190-1999, college: Missouri) answered with 36 points (!!!) and swingman Scottie Lindsey (196-1996, college: Northwestern) added 17 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Stingers. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
