Copeland comes back to Vancouver, ex Brindisi

Zach Copeland

The Vancouver Bandits (CEBL) signed 28-year-old American 193cm guard Zach Copeland (college: Illinois State). This marks his return to the Bandits, as he has previously played for the team. Copeland's most recent stint was with Happy Casa Brindisi in the Italian Serie A2.
During most of last season, he spent at another Italian team, Tezenis Scaligera Verona (also in Serie A2), where in 23 games he recorded very impressive stats: 17.6ppg, 3.4rpg, and 2.3apg. He helped them to make it to the Supercup semifinals. Great season indeed as he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Italian Serie A2 Honorable Mention. Copeland also played for another Italian team, Gevi Napoli Basket (Serie A), in Italy. He also played 11 games in Serie A where he averaged 10.5ppg, 3.2rpg, and 3.3apg. A very good season in his career as he was selected to Eurobasket.com All-Italian Serie A2 Honorable Mention.
Copeland is a very experienced player. He has played professionally in Finland (Bisons), Germany (Bamberg), Ukraine (Kryvbas and Krivbas), and the United Kingdom.
Between 2017 and 2024, Copeland's team won the CEBL Western Conference Regular Season. During 2017, Copeland received the All-Coast Conference-North Player of the Year award.
He graduated from Illinois State in 2020 and it's his sixth season in pro basketball. Copeland played also for City College of San Francisco for 2 years.
