Taze Moore (6'5''-G-1998), 26-year old American guard from the Vancouver Bandits, was selected as the Player of the Year at the Canadian Elite Basketball League. He graduated from Houston two years ago. Moore was also named to the First Team. His best performance made his team reach the final but they lost against Niagara 95 to 97. Moore conducted his way to the second position in averaging a commendable over 8 rebounds per game. He also averaged over 17 points per game in the league. Moore has totalled 5 games of 20 or more points and recorded double-doubles in 5 games on the year. His 35 points against Winnipeg were the most he scored in the 2024 season. Moore's team won the AAC Regular Season in 2022.
The standout American guard Khalil-Ullah Ahmad (6'3''-G-1996) was honored as the Finals MVP of the championship-winning the Niagara River Lions. He is CS Fullerton alumni from 2019. His excellent performance assisted his team in beating the Vancouver 97 to 95 in the final. Ahmad previously earned the Player of the Year back in 2022, and voted to the First Team back in 2022 and 2023, Clutch Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year last year. He was the Player of the Week honoree twice during the 24 campaign. With finesse and precision, Ahmad claimed the third position in points per game, delivering a stellar over 20 points per game average. Among many awards he was selected as the USBasket.com All-CEBL Player of the Year in 2022 and the Defensive Player of the Year in 2023.
Justin Wright-Foreman (6'0''-PG-1997), 26-year old American point guard from the Winnipeg Sea Bears, was selected to the First Team of Canadian Elite Basketball League. He is ex Hofstra from 2019. Wright-Foreman was previously chosen to the First Team last year. Wright-Foreman led the CEBL in points per game with almost 26. His 40 points against Edmonton were the most he scored in the 2024 season. Among many awards Wright-Foreman's team won the CAA Regular Season in 2019. He was also selected as the USBWA All-District II Player of the Year back in 2019 during his college time. Wright-Foreman was selected to the NABC Division I All-District 10 First Team as well as the All-Tournament Team back in 2019.
Anthony Barber (6'2''-PG-1994), 30-year old American point guard from Scarborough Shooting Stars, was named to the First Team at the Canadian Elite Basketball League. He is alumni of the NC State from 2016. Barber previously earned a spot in the Second Team back in 2021, Honorable Mention back in 2022 and First Team last year. His playmaking prowess was on full display as he secured the fourth position in points per game averaging over 19. Barber also registered almost 4 assists per game over the season in the league. He has totalled 6 games of 20 or more points on the year. Barber's 36 points against Edmonton were the most he scored in the 2024 season. Among many awards he was selected to the USBasket All-CEBL Second Team back in 2021 and the All-CEBL Honorable Mention in 2022.
Nick Ward (6'9''-C/F-1997), 26-year old American power forward from Vancouver Bandits, was voted to the First Team of Canadian Elite Basketball League. He graduated from the Michigan State five years ago. Ward's best performance made his team reach the final but they were defeated by Niagara 95 to 97. He was previously selected to the First Team back in 2021 and named to Honorable Mention last year selection. Ward's masterful distribution skills earned him the fifth spot in rebounds per game with an impressive average of almost 7. He also averaged over 16 points per game in the league. Ward has totalled 6 games of 20 or more points and notched double-doubles in 2 games on the year. His 29 points against Edmonton were the most he scored in the 2024 season. Among many awards Ward's team was the regular season runner-up in the Turkish TBL in 2020. He was selected to the Eurobasket All-Spanish LEB Gold First Team in 2022. Ward was also selected to the Eurobasket Spanish LEB Gold All-Imports Team in 2022. He was selected to the All-Big Ten Third Team back in 2019 during his college time. Ward was also selected as the USBasket.com All-CEBL Honorable Mention in 2023.
