Indianapolis Blaze clinch CBA title in Indianapolis as they pip Fort Wayne Flite 83-82. It looked like the third period was decisive in the game as the Blaze posted a massive 33-14 surge to take the lead. Fort Wayne Flite managed to respond with a 28-13 burst in the last stanza, but lost by one point.
Joe Retic (6'4''-G, college: Indianapolis) top-scored for the winners with 17 points, whilst Darryl Walker (6'3''-G) and William McClure (6'7''-C-89, college: Cent Michigan) had 13 each. John Murry (6'4''-G-95, college: Austin Peay) replied with 26 points in a loss and Deilvez Yearby (6'7''-F-87, college: PFW) brought 20.
