Regular Season Round 19: WV Grind - Windsor Exp. 128-138

Very important is a home loss of Grind (0-0) against fifth ranked Windsor Express (15-10) on Friday night. Host Grind unexpectedly was defeated by in Charleston 128-138. Windsor Exp. dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Grind's 52 and made 33-of-41 charity shots (80.5 percent) during the game. Windsor Exp. outrebounded WV Grind 64-46 including a 46-30 advantage in defensive rebounds. Windsor Exp. players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by WV Grind's players. They brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. It was a great evening for American forward Jalen Hayes (201-1995, college: Oakland) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points, 18 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import guard Shadell Millinghaus (188-1994, college: Georgetown, KY) helped adding 31 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. Five Windsor Express players scored in double figures. Windsor Express' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side forward Keyshawn Bryant (196-1999, college: S.Florida) responded with 42 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 4 blocks and guard Frank Agyemang (192-1996, college: WVSU) scored 20 points and 9 rebounds. Windsor Exp. maintains fifth place with 15-10 record. WV Grind at the other side still closes the standings with 0 game lost. They share the position with 4 other teams. Windsor Exp. will play against higher ranked Sudbury F. (#4) in Sudbury in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. WV Grind will have a break next round.
