An interesting game forLondon Lightning (20-11) which hosted in London bottom-ranked Grind (0-0). Second ranked London Lightning had an easy win 138-104 . London looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by WV Grind 's players. It was an exceptional evening for American point guard Nick Garth (183-1996, college: Lamar) who led the winners and scored 36 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds. His fellow American import point guard Chris Jones (182-1991, college: Louisville, agency: Haylett Sports) accounted for 23 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side. London Lightning's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Keyshawn Bryant (196-1999, college: S.Florida) came up with 33 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds and guard Chris Johnson (193-1991, college: St.Catharine) added 11 points, 20 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for WV Grind in the defeat. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. London maintains second place with 20-11 record having just 51 point less than leader KW Titans. Loser Grind still closes the standings with 0 game lost. They share the position with 4 other teams.
