Sixth-rankedToundra (7-13) made lots of trouble for first ranked Titans (18-7) in Montreal on Sunday. The visitors from Kitchener managed to secure only three-point victory 105-102 . However their fans expected much easier game. It was a great shooting night for KW Titans especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. 26 personal fouls committed by Montreal T. helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was guard Braylon Rayson (185-1994, college: CMU) who scored 28 points and 4 assists. Guard Dexter Williams Jr (193, college: UMW) chipped in 14 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Tafari Beckford (196-1995, college: Davenport) who recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds and guard Antoine Mason (191-1992, college: Auburn, agency: Interperformances) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Four KW Titans and five Montreal T. players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Titans have a solid series of four victories in a row. KW Titans maintains first place with 18-7 record. Montreal T. lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 13 games lost.
