Everything went according to plan in Medora where third rankedTimberjacks (5-2) outscored 5th ranked Distillers (3-2) 115-95 on Sunday. Medora T. forced 19 Derby City D. turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was Paul Parks (-1990) who scored 34 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds. Davon Dillard (196-1996, college: Shaw) chipped in 23 points and 9 rebounds. Dillard is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Greg Bowie II (190-1998, college: TAMIU, agency: Interperformances) who recorded 24 points and 6 rebounds and guard Tarkus Ferguson (193-1995, college: UIC) added 15 points respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Medora T. moved-up to second place, which they share with Reading. Loser Distillers keeps the fifth position with two games lost.
