Rather expected game when bottom-rankedPharaohs (0-4) were smashed on the road by fifth ranked Windsor Express (10-7) 144-109 on Saturday. Windsor Exp. dominated down low during the game scoring 80 of its points in the paint compared to Pharaohs 's 46 and made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. Windsor Exp. outrebounded Pontiac P. 59-31 including a 46-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. Windsor Exp. looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 18 passes made by Pontiac P. 's players. American Paul Harrison (206-1989, college: NGU) nailed 30 points and 5 rebounds (on 13-of-16 shooting from the field) for the winning side and his fellow American import forward Calvin Blaydes (198-1998, college: Broward CC) accounted for 22 points and 7 rebounds. Worth to mention Blaydes played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped get the job in pro basketball. Point guard James Towns (178-1998, college: Niagara) came up with 20 points and 8 assists and American Andre Johnson (189, college: Central) added 20 points and 4 assists respectively for Pontiac P. in the defeat. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Windsor Exp. moved-up to fourth place. Loser Pharaohs still closes the standings with four games lost. They share the position with Jamestown.
