WPBA round 3 most important game was a victory of Swish over Blaze 92-77 on Saturday night. They outrebounded Blaze 48-26 including a 19-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for guard Alexsis Brown (170, college: CSU Maritime) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 18 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Nicol Berry (175) contributed with 18 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Doris Jones (175-1998, college: UCSB) answered with 23 points and 6 rebounds and Serbian power forward Jovana Subasic (193-1997, college: Oregon St.) added 10 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Blaze. Five Swish and four Blaze players scored in double figures. Swish are looking forward to face Riptide (#6) in San Francisco in the next round. Blaze will play against Valkyrie and is hoping to win this game.
