Regular Season Round 33: Houston P. - Waco R. 163-110

Very predictable result in Houston where first ranked Push (20-1) smashed 8th ranked Royals (4-17) 163-110 on Sunday. Push dominated down low during the game scoring 82 of its points in the paint compared to Royals' 48. They outrebounded Royals 59-31 including a 47-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Push shot the lights out from three sinking 23 long-distance shots on high 53.5 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 50 assists comparing to just 25 passes made by Royals' players. The best player for the winners was Ruston Hayward (196-93, college: CBC) who scored 29 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists. Guard Tyree Crump (185-97, college: Georgia) chipped in 36 points (!!!). At the other side the best for losing team was guard Marvin White (189-90, college: SW Christian) who recorded 30 points and 6 assists and point guard Stevie Clark (180-94, college: LSUS) added 22 points respectively. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the nineteenth consecutive win for Push. They maintain first place with 20-1 record. Royals lost their seventeenth game in a row. They keep the eighth position with 17 games lost. Push will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Royals will play against Mavericks (#3) and hope to secure a win.
