TBL top team - Push (16-1) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed sixth ranked Leopards (7-11) 141-108. Push forced 30 Leopards turnovers and outrebounded them 56-34 including a 35-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 36 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Push made 7 blocks. Leopards were plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. Jevonlean Hedgeman (200-95, college: La-Lafayette) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 18 rebounds. Point guard Alani Moore II (178-98, college: Temple) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 13 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Point guard Micheal Lenoir (180-1) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 assists and point guard Chase Winchester (183-98, college: UNK) added 24 points in the effort for Leopards. Five Push and four Leopards players scored in double figures. Push have an impressive 15-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 16-1 record. Loser Leopards dropped to the fifth place with 11 games lost. Push will have a break next round. Leopards will play against Royals (#8) and hope to win that game.
