An interesting game for Seakings (7-8) which hosted in Monterey one of their biggest challengers Breeze (5-10). Third ranked Seakings had an easy win 132-93. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Breeze. Seakings held Breeze to an opponent 0.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 0.0 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Breeze 67-42 including a 49-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was forward Josh Allen (203, college: Modesto JC) who had a double-double by scoring 27 points and 19 rebounds. Brett Corbertt chipped in a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds. Swingman Anthony Lefeu-Agurrie (193-94) produced a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds and guard Taka Hall (190-97, college: UNLV) added 13 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Seakings maintains third position with 7-8 record having eleven points less than leader Syracuse S., which they share with Raleigh F. Breeze at the other side keeps the fourth place with ten games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
