Regular Season Round 22: South Shore M. - Jamestown J. 102-146

Leader Jackals delivered the twelfth victory on Friday night. This time they crushed bottom-ranked Moncarchs (0-13) 146-102. Jackals well out of reach of Moncarchs shooting 70.5 percent from the field and made 23-of-28 free shots (82.1 percent) during the game. Jackals forced 20 Moncarchs turnovers and outrebounded them 39-27 including a 32-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 61.9 percentage. Jackals looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Guard McGlynn Four (188-92) fired 21 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists (made all of his seven free throws) for the winners. Guard Dane Miller (201-90, college: Rutgers) chipped in 17 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 6 steals (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Miller is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas. Jackals' coach felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Christopher Miller (192-93, college: Salem) produced 25 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Dante Ramos (198-93, college: Maine-Machias) added 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Jackals (12-2) have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position. Loser Moncarchs still closes the standings with 13 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
