An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Columbus. Third ranked Condors faced one of their biggest challengers Flight. Host Condors (6-5) defeated guests from Dayton (6-6) 146-129. Condors dominated down low during the game scoring 92 of its points in the paint compared to Flight's 72 and made 21-of-24 free shots (87.5 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Flight 45-26 including 35 on the defensive glass. Condors looked well-organized offensively handing out 35 assists. Brett McKnight (198-89, college: Akron) had a double-double by scoring 31 points, 13 rebounds and 8 assists (on 13-of-14 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and forward Khaleal McCormick (198-94, college: Tiffin) chipped in 26 points and 10 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) during the contest. At the losing side point guard Taishaun Johnson (183-94, college: PVAMU) responded with 28 points and 6 assists and forward Tyrell Means (188-91, college: IU Southeast, agency: Green Sports Management) scored 21 points (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Four Condors and five Flight players scored in double figures. Condors have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 6-5 record having fourteen points less than leader San Diego G., which they share with Atalanta E. Loser Flight dropped to the second place with six games lost. They share the position with California SK. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
