Regular Season Round 15: Jamestown J. - South Shore M. 120-92

TBL top team - Jackals (8-2) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed ninth ranked Moncarchs (0-8) in Jamestown 120-92. Jackals made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Jackals outrebounded Moncarchs 55-30 including a 39-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Moncarchs' players. It was a great evening for guard Jonathan Lee (188-90, college: Northeastern) who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Guard Dane Miller (201-90, college: Rutgers) helped adding 7 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists. Miller is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas. The best for the losing side was guard Carlton Brundidge (189-92, college: Detroit) with 26 points and 6 rebounds and Joe Jones scored 19 points, 7 assists and 4 steals. Four Jackals and five Moncarchs players scored in double figures. Jackals maintains first place with 8-2 record, which they share with Shreveport M. and Kokomo B. Moncarchs lost their eighth game in a row. They still close the standings with eight games lost. Jackals will face league's second-placed Stallions in Syracuse in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
