Regular Season Round 9: Enid O. - Midtown P. 146-70

TBL top team - Outlaws (7-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed ninth ranked Prestige (0-6) 146-70. Outlaws dominated down low during the game scoring 100 of its points in the paint compared to Prestige's 44. Outlaws forced 19 Prestige turnovers and outrebounded them 61-30 including a 47-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists comparing to just 5 passes made by Prestige's players. Outlaws brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. It was a good game for swingman Wayne Runnels (198-89, college: Creighton) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 42 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds. Center Chance Comanche (211-96, college: Arizona) contributed with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Outlaws players scored in double figures. Forward Tevin Townsend (201-98, college: Allen County) answered with 16 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Marquez Patterson (183-90) added 13 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Prestige. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Outlaws have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 7-0 record. Prestige at the other side still closes the standings with six games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
