TBL top team - Jackals (5-1) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed eighth ranked Moncarchs (0-4) 133-111. Jackals dominated down low during the game scoring 86 of its points in the paint compared to Moncarchs' 62. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Jackals made 7 blocks. Point guard Christian Nobles (175-92, college: USC Aiken) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!), 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard McGlynn Four (188-92) contributed with 19 points for the winners. Swingman Dante Ramos (198-93, college: Maine-Machias) replied with 33 points (!!!) and Cape Verdean guard Denzel Brito (188-91, college: Loyola, MD) added 17 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Moncarchs. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Jackals have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 5-1 record, which they share with Houston P. Loser Moncarchs still closes the standings with four games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
