Regular Season Round 8: Tampa Bay T. - Raleigh F. 117-112

Titans' fans can finally celebrate the first win of their team after three consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as they defeated much higher ranked Firebirds (2-2) 117-112. Titans made 17-of-19 charity shots (89.5 percent) during the game. They also forced 23 Firebirds turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. The best player for the winners was Lebanese-American guard Bassel Harfouch (193-93, college: Alcorn St., agency: Green Sports Management) who had a triple-double by scoring 31 points, 10 rebounds, 12 assists and 4 steals. Guard Tray Boyd III (193-98, college: ETSU) chipped in 19 points and 9 assists. Forward Shaquille Dance (193-93, college: Limestone) produced a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!), 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals and guard Jonathan Milligan (188-93, college: Pittsburgh) added 18 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for the guests. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Titans (1-3) left bottom position moving up to sixth place, which they share with Tri-State A. Firebirds at the other side keep the fourth position with two games lost. Titans will have a break next round. Firebirds will play at home against Coyotes (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
