Top rankedRiver Lions (7-4) recorded its fourth loss in Winnipeg on Thursday night. Visitors were defeated by fifth ranked Sea Bears (6-5) 94-82 . It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Winnipeg looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. American point guard Justin Wright-Foreman (183-1997, college: Hofstra) fired a double-double by scoring 22 points, 6 rebounds and 16 assists for the winners. Forward David Muenkat (201-2000, college: St.Francis X.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 13 rebounds. Guard TJ Lall (198-1996, college: Carleton) produced 23 points and 9 rebounds and American guard Omari Moore (198-2000, college: SJSU) added 15 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists respectively for lost side. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Sea Bears have a solid three-game winning streak. Winnipeg moved-up to second place, which they share with Calgary and Scarborough. Niagara at the other side still keeps top position with four games lost.
