A very close game took place in Hamilton betweenSea Bears and Honey Badgers . Fourth ranked Sea Bears (3-3) got a very close victory on the road over one of their biggest challengers Honey Badgers (2-5). Sea Bears managed to escape with a 2-point win 92-90 on Wednesday evening. Winnipeg looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Winnipeg made 9 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Teddy Allen (198-1998, college: NM State) who helped to win the game recording 30 points and 5 assists and Jamaican-Canadian point guard Jarred Ogungbemi-Jackson (178-1991, college: Calgary, agency: Slash Sports) who added 16 points and 9 assists during the contest. At the losing side American guard Javonte Cooke (198-1999, college: WSSU) responded with 16 points and 8 rebounds and Greek center Petros Melissaratos (205-1993) scored 15 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Five Winnipeg and four Brampton players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Winnipeg maintains fourth position with 3-3 record. Brampton lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the third place with five games lost.
