Very predictable result in Hamilton where second ranked River Lions (13-7) defeated 7th ranked Honey Badgers (8-12) 82-72 on Saturday. River Lions forced 23 Honey Badgers turnovers. The best player for the winners was forward TJ Lall (198-1996, college: Carleton) who scored 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. British-Canadian guard Kimbal Mackenzie (187-1996, college: Bucknell) chipped in 17 points and 7 assists. American forward Zane Waterman (203-1995, college: Manhattan) produced 15 points and 8 rebounds and forward Patrick Emilien (201-1999, college: Maryland) added 8 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the hosts.
