The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Eclipse (4-1) at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by Glow (4-1) 91-80. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Eclipse. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Glow forced 20 Eclipse turnovers. Guard Kaitlyn Chen (175-2002, college: UConn) stepped up and scored 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and Kia Nurse chipped in 21 points. Guard Aneesah Morrow (185-2003, college: LSU) responded with 9 points and 15 rebounds. Gold Rush maintains third place with 2-3 record having just two points less than leader Glow. Rhythm at the other side still closes the standings with five games lost. Gold Rush will play against league's leader Glow in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
