The Apprentice School women's basketball team came up short in a 63-55 setback against Washington Adventist on Sunday afternoon. The Lady Builders shot 27% from the floor in the first half and the Shock shot 39% from the floor and outrebounded the Lady Builders by 17 to build a nine-point lead. Callan Taylor (6'0''-F-90, college: Sacred Heart) was The Woods standout performer tonight as she finished the contest with 21 points. Taylor finished the game hitting seven 3-PT baskets and was 7-12 from the field. In the first quarter, the Pomeroys jumped out to an early lead over the Griffins. The Lady Owls extended their win streak to 4 in a row with a 78-62 point win over The Apprentice School. The Owls shot an impressive 55% from the 3pt line, knocking down 11 3's. This was one of our better offensive nights, not only did we shot well from the 3pt line but we shot 43% from the field as well. Danielle Hinkelman led the Owls with a career high 19 points.
