Texas A&M Wins 2013 SEC Tournament - Mar 11, 2013

DULUTH, Ga. Kelsey Bone (6'4''-C-91) scored a team-high 18 points and Texas A&M won its first Southeastern Conference Tournament Championship, defeating second-seeded Kentucky 75-67 on Sunday in the Arena at Gwinnett Center

The victory marks the first conference tournament title for Texas A&M since winning the Big 12 Conference Tournament in 2010. Sundays crown is the fourth conference tournament title for Texas A&M across three different conferences.

Bone charted her 14th double-double of the season with 18 points and 15 rebounds as one of four Texas A&M (24-9) players to reach double-figure scoring totals.
Kristi Bellock (6'1''-F-90) followed with 15 points, while Courtney Walker (5'8''-G-94) added 14. Courtney Williams (6'1'') chipped in 11 points.

The Aggies shot 47.0 percent (31-of-66) from the field in the game, while the Wildcats connected on 35.5 percent (27-of-76) percent from the floor. Texas A&M scored 42 of its 75 total points in the paint.

Kentucky (27-5), which was making its third SEC Tournament Championship Game appearance in the last four years, was led by a game-high 19 points from Adia Mathies.
