There was no surprise in Alameda where 5th rankedRoyals (2-3) were defeated by second ranked Wolves (4-1) 109-91 on Sunday. Swingman IimarI Thomas (178-2000, college: UCLA) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and guard Rebecca Harris (173-1986, college: Illinois) chipped in 28 points and 8 assists. Guard Jasmine Guinn (168-1995) responded with 24 points and 6 rebounds and Miyu Mizukawa scored 19 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Wolves maintains second place with 4-1 record behind leader Phoenix, which they share with Blaze. Loser Royals dropped to the fourth position with three games lost. They share it with Reign and Swish.
