Fire looked well-organized offensively handing out 34 assists. 31 personal fouls committed by 4 Bears Roar helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Point guard Jahmal McMurray (183-1997, college: SMU, agency: Momentum SM) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners and point guard Daylon Guy (183-1992, college: Tarleton St.) chipped in 13 points, 6 rebounds and 13 assists. At the losing side guard Deshawn Munson (193-1995, college: Harris-Stowe St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 8 rebounds and 11 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and guard Robert Phinisee (185-1999, college: Cincinnati) scored 25 points and 7 assists. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
