Regular Season Round 10: Calgary - Vancouver 100-83

The biggest surprise took place in Calgary where host Surge (8-2) beat league's leader Bandits (8-3) 100-83 on Sunday evening. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Calgary forced 29 Vancouver turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. 26 personal fouls committed by Vancouver helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American forward Greg Brown III (201-2001, college: Texas, agency: MSG) fired 24 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Swingman Sean Miller-Moore (193-1998, college: GCU) chipped in 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Surge players scored in double figures. American Curtis Hollis (198-1998, college: Hutchinson) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and guard Duane Notice (188-1994, college: S.Carolina, agency: Inception Sports) added 15 points respectively for lost side. Surge have a solid three-game winning streak. Calgary keeps a position of league leader. Vancouver at the other side dropped to the second place with three games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Niagara. Vancouver will play next round against Saskatchewan trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Calgary will try to continue on its current victory against fifth ranked Saskatchewan in Saskatoon.
