Reign signs Alex Montgomery

Alex Montgomery

Hayward Reign signed experienced 36-year old swingman Alex Montgomery (6'1''-1988, college: Georgia Tech). The last time (2018) she played at Chicago Sky (WNBA). Montgomery missed last season and had one year break from professional basketball.
In 2011 she was drafted by New York Liberty (WNBA) in first round (10th overall).
She graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology and it will be her 15th (!!!) season in pro basketball.
Montgomery is quite experienced player. She has played in five different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). Montgomery has played previously professionally in Brazil (Sao Jose and Gloria do Goita), France (Tarbes), Israel (Elitzur Ramla), Italy and WNBA (S.Antonio SS). Her team made it to the ACC Tournament Semifinals in 2010 and 2011.
It's very possible she may end her playing career at Reign.
