Seattle Storm waived 29-year old former USA-Hungarian international 6-4 forward Beatrice Mompremier (college: Miami, FL).
The most of previous (2025-26) season she spent at Magic Deer in Chinese WCBA where in 22 games she recorded very impressive stats: 15.8ppg, 10.0rpg and 2.4apg last season. Great year indeed as she was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Chinese League Third Team. She also played for CBK Mersin in Turkish league.
In 2020 she was drafted by Los Angeles Sparks (WNBA) in second round (20th overall).
The former University of Miami star is in her sixth season in pro basketball.
She was also a member of the USA international program for some years. Mompremier played for USA Senior National Team back in 2019 and previously for the Under 19 National Team in 2015.
She is a very experienced player. Mompremier has quite traveled the world as her pro career brought her to six different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). She has played professionally in China, Hungary (Sopron and UNI Gyor), Italy (Venezia), Mexico (Adelitas), Turkey (Kocaeli) and other WNBA teams (Connecticut Sun and Atlanta Dream). Mompremier's team made it to the Turkish Final Four in 2026.
Among many awards she was selected to Eurobasket.com All-Hungarian League Honorable Mention in 2024. Mompremier played also for Baylor University for 2 years.
