Allen is back at Liberty

Rebecca Allen

New York Liberty agreed terms with 33-year old Australian ex-international guard Rebecca Allen (6'2''-1992, agency: LBM Management). It is actually her comeback to Liberty as she has played here before. She just played at Fenerbahce in Turkish KBSL. In 5 games she had 10.6ppg, 4.8rpg and 1.2spg last season. She also played 5 games in Euroleague where she recorded 7.2ppg, 4.6rpg, 2.0apg and 1.2spg. The last season summer she played at Sky.
Allen was also a member of the Australian international program for some years. She played for the Australian Senior National Team between 2014 and 2024 and previously for the Under 19 National Team in 2011.
Allen is a highly experienced player, having played in seven different countries on three different continents - Europe, Australia, and North America. She has played for various teams in Australia (Boomers, Southside Flyers, Australian Institute of Sport, Knox Raiders, and Redbacks), as well as in France (Lyon), Poland (Gdynia), Slovakia (Good Angels), Spain (Valencia), Turkey, and for other WNBA teams (Connecticut Sun and Phoenix Mercury).
She won the Spanish LF Endesa championship title in 2024. In 2022, she was voted to the Eurobasket.com Spanish LF Endesa All-Imports Team.
