Sims is back at Wings

Odyssey Sims

Dallas Wings signed 33-year old ex-international point guard Odyssey Sims (5'9''-1992, college: Baylor). It is actually her comeback to Wings as she has played here before. She just played at Gold Rush (AUPro) the team from Dallas. In 9 games just recently she had very impressive stats: 26.8ppg, 5.0rpg, 5.9apg and 1.6spg last season. She helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league. 2026-26 was a great season as she was voted USBasket.com All-AUPro League Player of the Year, Finals MVP and Guard of the Year. Sims also played for another AUPro team Glow earlier that season. The other team she played shortly was another AUPro team Gold Rush.
In 2014, she was drafted by the Tulsa Shock (WNBA) as the #2 overall pick.
She graduated from Baylor University and it will be her twelfth season in pro basketball.
Sims was also a member of the USA international program for some years. She played for USA Senior National Team between 2014 and 2016 and previously for the University National Team in 2011.
Sims has a lot of experience as a player, having played in four different countries on three different continents - Europe, Asia, and North America. She has played professionally in China for Henan Phoenix, in Turkey for Botas, Kayseri, and Adana ASKI Mersin, in the WNBA for Connecticut Sun, Indiana Fever, LA Sparks, Minnesota Lynx, and Atlanta Dream, and in South Korea for Hana 1Q Bucheon.
