Fire lands Kamiah Smalls

Kamiah Smalls

Portland Fire landed 28-year old Bosnian-Bosnia and Herzegovina international 5-10 guard Kamiah Smalls (college: JMU). She played recently at Galatasaray in Turkish KBSL. In 20 games she averaged 9.4ppg, 3.6rpg, 2.5apg and 1.1spg last season. She helped them to make it to both league and Cup finals after they ended regular season as second best team. Smalls also played 17 games in Euroleague where she had 9.3ppg, 4.5rpg and 3.5apg. The last season summer she played at Dream.
In 2020 she was drafted by Indiana Fever (WNBA) in third round (25th overall).
The former James Madison University star is in her sixth season in pro basketball. She has been regularly called to the Bosnia and Herzegovina Senior National Team since 2025.
Smalls is a very experienced player. She has played also professionally in France (Villeneuve), Italy (Venezia and Empoli), Poland (Lublin) and other WNBA team (Minnesota Lynx).
Among many awards she was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Italian League All-Imports Team in 2025.
