Storm keeps Samuelson for another season

Katie Samuelson

The Seattle Storm re-signed 28-year-old former USA-British international 6-3 forward Katie Samuelson (college: UConn) for the new season. She played there last season.
In 2019, the Chicago Sky selected her as the fourth overall pick in the WNBA draft.
She graduated from the University of Connecticut and this will be her eighth season in professional basketball.
Samuelson was also a member of the USA international program for some years. She played for USA Senior National Team between 2019 and 2020 and previously for the Under 19 National Team back in 2015.
Samuelson has also played professionally in France, Spain, and other WNBA teams between Indiana Fever, Dallas Wings, and LA Sparks.
She won the Spanish LF Endesa championship title in 2022 and was selected as the Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LF Endesa Forward of the Year in the same year.
