Chicago Sky agreed terms with 30-year old center Azura Stevens (6'6''-1996, college: UConn) for the upcoming 2026 season. It is actually her comeback to Sky as she has played here before. She played last summer at LA Sparks (WNBA). In 44 games, she had 12.8ppg, 8.0rpg, 2.1apg, 1.2spg, and 1.1bpg.
In 2018, she was drafted by the Dallas Wings (WNBA) in the first round (6th overall).
She graduated from the University of Connecticut and this will be her ninth season in pro basketball.
Stevens has played professionally in China (Power and Magic Deer), Russia (Nika), and Turkey (Galatasaray) during her career. She has played on three different continents - Europe, Asia, and North America.
Among many awards, her team made it to the Turkish KBSL Semifinals in 2023. Stevens was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Turkish KBSL Honorable Mention back in 2023. She also played for Duke University for 2 years.
