Brittney Griner Set To Join Sun On Seven-Figure Deal

Brittney Griner (6'9''-C-1990, college: Baylor) is finalizing a seven-figure deal with the Connecticut Sun, sources told Alexa Philippou of ESPN. Griner, who had spent her entire career with the Mercury, averaged 9.8 points and 5.2 rebounds for the Dream last season. The 35-year-old is a six-time WNBA All-Star. The team is set to move to Houston for the 2027 season. Griner is from the city and played college at Baylor.
