Las Vegas (February 26, 2018)-Las Vegas Aces President of Basketball Operations and Head Coach Bill Laimbeer announced today that the team has re-signed guard/forward Sequoia Holmes and forward Cierra Burdick, and signed free agent forward Ivey Slaughter.

Sequoia Holmes, 6-1, Guard/Forward, UNLV

Sequoia Holmes enters her fourth year in the WNBA after playing her first three seasons in Houston (2008), Phoenix (2010) and San Antonio (2017).

The UNLV graduate played in a career-high 27 games last season for the Stars, and scored a career-high 3.3 points per game. She also notched a career-high 14 points on August 10 vs. Chicago, and tied her career-high with four assists vs. Washington on May 14.

The Las Vegas native has played overseas in Greece, Germany, Israel, Spain, Italy, Slovakia, Finland, and Angola. This offseason, she is playing for Bnei Yehuda in Israel, where she is averaging a team-high 16.2 points, 9.2 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game.

Cierra Burdick, 6-2, Forward, Tennessee

Cierra Burdick is also beginning her fourth year of WNBA competition. She began her career with the Atlanta Dream in 2015, and was signed as a free agent by the New York Liberty prior to the start of the 2017 campaign. The San Antonio Stars signed her to a pair of seven-day contracts late in the 2017 season.

The Tennessee graduate brings career averages of 2.8 points, 1.8 rebounds and 0.8 assists per game to the Aces, and has made 47.1 percent of her shots from the field in her three-year WNBA career.

Burdick is currently playing overseas for Kazanochka Kazan in Russia, where she is averaging a team-high 13.5 points and 9.3 rebounds per game.

Ivey Slaughter, 6-1, Forward, Florida State

Ivey Slaughter graduated from Florida State in 2017, and was invited to training camp that April by the New York Liberty.

She is playing overseas for Pinkk-Pecsi in Hungary where she is averaging a near double-double with 14.4 points and 9.1 rebounds. She also leads the team in field goal percentage (.560), and steals per game (2.3), while averaging 2.4 assists per game.

New York Liberty sign Marine Johannes - 2 days ago
New York, New York (March 21, 2019)- The New York Liberty have signed French guard Marine Johannes, General Manager Jonathan Kolb announced today. The terms of the agreements were not disclosed, per team policy. The 5'10 guard has played for Tango Bourges Basket, located in Bourges, France.
