The Women's Minor League Basketball association has big news coming soon. 'Expansion is coming quickly and you'll see teams in markets you haven't seen before. I'm excited to announce the new teams for the 2019 season' -WMLBA commissioner Janell Burse
Having more teams means having more opportunities for the women to be seen and scouted my overseas general managers and coaches. The Dallas Lightning has won the WMLBA Championship the last 2 seasons, however with more teams and more talent the WMLBA will be more competitive than ever. The mission of the Women's Minor League Basketball Association is to give women a platform to create their own legacies by presenting them with opportunities to showcase their talents as professional athletes.
