WMLBA 2018 June Wrap Up

The WMLBA tipped off Saturday June 16th with the WMLBA defending champions Dallas Lightning hosting the Houston Galaxy. The Lighting prevailed over the Galaxy in a 83-61 victory. The following day the Lighting faced off with the San Antonio Trooper and also walked away with a 89-66 win.
The following weekend the Galaxy had a chance of redemption from the week one opener but the Lighting were still too tough for the Galaxy resulting in a 78-61 loss. The Galaxy also lost in week 2 at home to the San Antonio Trooper 71-74 in a well fought fight.
In week 3 of action the San Antonio Troopers hosted the Houston Galaxy and defeated them at the OLLU University and Wellness Center 74-64. The next day the Troopers faced a new WMLBA Team, the Texas Elite from Fort Worth Texas. The Troopers were too tough for anyone to handle this weekend, handing the Elite their first loss of the season in a 108-53 blowout. The WMLBA has a league break from July 1st until July 14th when the Houston Galaxy seeks their first win of the season at home facing the Dallas Lighting and Texas Elite.
