Houston Galaxy topped Texas Elite in the latest game of the WMLBA. They posted a comfortable 114-43 win for a 1-5 record. Houston Galaxy led 59-24 at the halftime and managed to dominate the whole game. Earlier Houston Galaxy lost to Dallas Lightning 44-77. The latter improved to a 4-0 record on top. WMLBA 2018 June Wrap Up - 18 days ago
The WMLBA tipped off Saturday June 16th with the WMLBA defending champions Dallas Lightning hosting the Houston Galaxy. The Lighting prevailed over the Galaxy in a 83-61 victory. The following day the Lighting faced off with the San Antonio Trooper and also walked away with a 89-66 win. The following weekend the Galaxy had a chance of redemption from the week one opener but the Lighting were still too tough for the Galaxy resulting in a 78-61 loss. Dallas Lightning wins 2018 opener - 1 month ago
Dallas Lightning have won the 2018 opener as they rolled over Houston Galaxy 83-61. Both teams nailed 15 points each in the first period, while Dallas posted a 22-11 surge in the second frame. Moreover they closed the game with the final 27-15 rally to seal the victory. Ashley Shields (5'11''-SG-85, college: SW Tenn.St.CC) stepped up with 26 points, while Tekoia Larry netted 21. Shanequa Gaston (6'0''-G/F) answered with 13 points in a loss and Jackie Blake scored 11.   [read more]
