Los Angeles, CA - 'It was just what I thought, we was going to come in and win the game, but I didn't think it would be this big of win in game #1' stated Buzz Head Coach Burrel Lee III. The Los Angeles Buzz formally of the ABA, made their debut in the WCBL with a 125-94 win over the Ventura Jets. 'This was pretty good for us to start the 2010 WCBL Season with a win and over a team that was in the playoffs of the league the last two seasons,' added Lee.

The Buzz (1-0) who will release their complete team roster on Friday, April 23rd, 2010 was lead by Mjumbe Williams (6'0''-G-82, college: Ark.-Monticello) (31pts), Vincent Camper (6'3''-G-85, college: Cal.St.-Los Angeles) II (28pts), JuShay Rockett (6'5''-F-84, college: Alaska-Fairb.) (20pts), Jaquain Weary (6'5''-G-84) (20pts) and Sean Harris (6'0''-G-80, college: Grand Canyon) added (10pts). The Jets (1-1) was lead by Imani Mackie (6'8''-F/C-84, college: Cal.St.-Los Angeles) (18pts) and Trei Small (15pts).

The Buzz will take on another new team to the WCBL Long Beach Lights Out (0-0) this Saturday night at 8:00pm, right after the 2-time defending champs the Santa Barbara Breakers (0-0) take on the 2009 regular season champ the Newport Beach Surf at 6:30pm.
